I can&#039;t tell you how many times I&#039;ve received an RFP only to discover that it pretty much was a marketing document from one of my competitors with just the product name stripped out. It was disappointing to not have a chance at that RFP, but I was also glad that I had noticed it because it saved me from hours of wasted effort...!</description>

		<description>One of the golden rules is that if you haven&#039;t had a hand in influencing the RFP, then your chances of winning it are slim.   It&#039;s generally fairly easy to spot which of your competitors are in the frame from the RFP language -- there are often key phrases which they will have coined.</description>
