		<description>MM: every company is different. Here&#039;s the key: as a Product Manager, your product is your &quot;baby&quot; - nobody else will love it as much as you will. Even if pricing is not in your job description, you are still responsible for it. Ultimately, since you&#039;ve spent so much time working on the product, you want to get the greatest reward for it (profit).

In smaller firms, yes you&#039;ll be responsible for at least proposing pricing for your product. In larger firms pricing will be done by another department, but you had better be providing them with lots of info as to what they should price it at otherwise they&#039;ll just pick some number. That would be like having someone else name your baby for you!!!</description>

    My thinking would be that for some companies, pricing might not even be an option (or part of the job description) for some product managers, no ?</description>
